The Finnish Language Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison aims at equipping students with the language skills and cultural competence needed for life and study in contemporary Finland. We use a wide range of audiovisual and Internet sources in the classroom and work to help build students’ familiarity with Finnish vocabulary, morphology, and grammar. The skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking are practiced extensively at every level.
